This is the part of the internet that belongs to me specifically. I write things — short stories, poetry, essays, the occasional restaurant review nobody asked for — and I put them here instead of leaving them in a notes app to rot. I also built the markdown parser running this site myself, which is either impressive or deeply unnecessary depending on who you ask.
If you're looking for something specific: Writings is the curated stuff, the things I'd let a stranger read. Diary is the uncurated stuff, dated like an actual diary because it is one.

Writings
Essays, short fiction, and poetry — the stuff I'd actually call "writing." Categorized, dated, occasionally pretentious.

Dated entries, lower stakes, higher honesty. Updated whenever something happens that's too small for an essay but too big to ignore.

Three obsessions — Linux, cinema, and a McDonald's wet bird — given way more space than is reasonable.

An unsorted, unordered pile of images that made me laugh. Pinterest energy, none of the curation.
